LCOG RLRTP
About the 2055 LCOG RLRTP
The 2055 LCOG Rural Long-Range Transportation Plan (RLRTP) is a comprehensive 30-year transportation plan for the four-county (Beaufort, Colleton, Hampton, and Jasper Counties) Lowcountry region. It establishes regional goals, identifies current and future transportation needs, and guides investment by allocating projected revenues to priority programs and projects. The plan addresses local needs while meeting federal and state requirements, and considers all modes of travel including driving, biking, walking, wheeling, and transit to ensure the transportation system supports how people live, work, and travel.
Using data-driven analysis and community input, the RLRTP will identify and prioritize transportation projects across the LCOG region.
